Hey there, Pune peeps! It looks like the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is cracking down on some footpath encroachment shenanigans in Aundh. According to a recent report by Punekar News, the Khedkar family has been called out for taking over part of a public footpath in the name of beautification.

The PMC wasted no time and issued a notice to Manorama Khedkar, the matriarch of the family and mother of a probationary IAS officer named Puja Khedkar. The notice demands that the encroachment be removed within seven days, or else the PMC will step in and take action.

PMC officers were spotted today pasting a copy of the notice outside the Khedkar bungalow at National Housing Society, Baner Road, Aundh. The encroachment in question is said to be 60 feet long, 3 feet wide, and 2 feet high, making it a major hindrance to pedestrians.

The PMC means business, folks. The notice, issued by Deputy Engineer Makarand Wadekar and Junior Engineer Ramdas Pawar from the Road Department, clearly states that the Khedkar family needs to clear the footpath ASAP or face the consequences.

So, let’s see if the Khedkar family will comply with the PMC’s demands. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story!
