Hey Pune peeps, have you heard about the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana? Well, it seems like the scheme is gaining some serious traction in the district! According to the District Women and Child Development Officer Monika Randhave, a whopping 1,33,000 offline and 75,000 online applications have already been received.
The application process for eligible beneficiary women is moving at lightning speed, with various locations across the district offering assistance to women in filling out their forms. Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporations have even set up dedicated centres to help out.
If you’re a woman with a family income of less than Rs 2.5 lakh, you still have time to submit your application – the deadline is August 31. Once approved, you could receive Rs 1,500 per month starting from July, with payments kicking off on August 15.
To make sure no eligible woman misses out on this awesome benefit, planning has been done at the village level. Randhave is urging women to submit their applications at Setu Suvidha Kendras, through the Nari Shakti Doot app, municipal ward offices, or Anganwadi offices.
And get this – the Nari Shakti Doot app has an edit option now! So if you make a mistake on your application, you can correct it once. Just be careful, because once you make a change, you can’t undo it.
