Rest The Case, a professional services platform, recently marked a major milestone as it celebrated its fourth year of operation. To honor this achievement, the company organized a special legal session at the Snehalaya Snehadhar Project, a well-known NGO in Pune that offers shelter and assistance to women in distress.

The Snehalaya Snehadhar Project serves as a safe space for women dealing with various forms of violence and abuse, including domestic violence, sexual abuse, forced marriage, rape, prostitution, and sexual harassment. In the past two years alone, the organization has helped over 100 women in Pune. Their dedication to empowering women was highlighted in a special episode of the popular TV show “Satyamev Jayate.”

To empower the women at Snehalaya with legal knowledge, Rest The Case brought in renowned lawyer Kanchan Sapre to conduct an informative session. Ms. Sapre discussed the legal rights available to women in India and shared strategies for self-protection in different situations. The session also included a Q&A segment where the women could ask their own questions.

Shreya Sharma, CEO of Rest The Case, expressed gratitude to the Snehalaya Snehadhar Project for providing a platform to educate women about their legal rights. The company also looked forward to celebrating its 4th anniversary on July 15th.

Rest The Case has seen significant growth over the years, with a community of over 2600 lawyers dedicated to justice. They have provided legal support to 3.6 lakh individuals and organized panel discussions on important legal issues. With a network of legal professionals in 200 cities, the organization continues to expand its reach and support the community.
