Hey Pune peeps, get ready for some rainy days ahead! The weather forecast for Thursday and Friday is predicting moderate rain in the city and surrounding areas. Looks like we might be in for some thunderstorms too, so don’t forget to carry your umbrellas.

But hold up, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows (literally). A red alert has been issued in Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Satara districts due to the possibility of heavy rainfall. Other areas like Nanded, Hingoli, and Parbhani have been put on orange alert as a precaution.

It seems like Mother Nature has been in a giving mood lately, with various parts of the State receiving moderate to heavy rain for the past few days. Farmers in Marathwada and Vidarbha are breathing a sigh of relief as dams across Maharashtra are filling up nicely.

While some areas in Pune have been blessed with light rains, the eastern parts are still waiting for their share of the downpour. According to Senior Meteorologist Anupam Kashyapi, we can expect more rain in Thane, Sindhudurg, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Kolhapur, and Pune districts in the next few hours.

So, stay safe, stay dry, and enjoy the monsoon showers, Pune!
