Hey Pune peeps, brace yourselves for a water shortage coming your way! The Parvati water centre is facing a leakage issue, and the administration has decided to halt water supply in certain areas on Thursday, July 25th. The Head of Water Supply Department of PMC, Nandkishor Jagtap, spilled the beans that the eastern part of the city and neighboring areas will be affected due to the repair work on the 600 mm water channel of the tank.

So, if you live in Shankarsheth Road area, Guruvar Peth, Budhwar Peth, or any of the other areas on the list, be prepared to stock up on water or face a dry day on Thursday. And don’t think you’re off the hook on Friday morning either, as there will be slow and late water supply to these areas as well.

Looks like the water troubles are spreading far and wide, affecting areas like Ghorpade Peth, Lohia Nagar, and even parts of Mitra Mandal Colony. So, stay hydrated and make sure you have enough water stored for the upcoming dry spell.

Remember, water is precious, so let’s all do our part in conserving it during this temporary inconvenience. Stay tuned for updates on the situation and keep an eye out for any further announcements from the authorities. Stay hydrated, Pune!
