With the impending reconstruction of the Sadhu Vaswani bridge by the Pune Municipal Corporation, the Pune Traffic Police have announced a series of traffic adjustments in the Bund Garden and Koregaon Park areas. Starting on May 25, 2024, motorists will need to be aware of the following changes:
1. A section of road between Circuit House Chowk and Blue Diamond Hotel Chowk will be closed off to traffic in both directions.
2. The stretch from Mahatma Gandhi Udyan Chowk to Blue Diamond Chowk to Moboz Chowk will become a one-way route.
3. For vehicles coming from Blue Diamond Hotel Chowk, the alternative route will be through Mor Odha Chowk, Mangaldas Road, IB Chowk, and Circuit House to reach their destination.
4. The road from Moboz Chowk to Mahatma Gandhi Udyan Chowk will be converted to one-way traffic.
5. Entry from Shriman Chowk to Koregaon Park Junction via Mehta Road will be closed off, with an alternative route through Mahatma Gandhi Udyan Chowk.
6. Emergency one-way traffic will be enforced from I V Chowk to Circuit House Chowk to Mor Odha during emergencies.
7. Traffic from Blue Diamond Chowk to South Main Road, Koregaon Park will remain unaffected.
Motorists are urged to follow these adjustments to ensure smooth traffic flow and avoid congestion in the affected areas.
