Hey there, folks! It looks like we’ve got some good news coming our way regarding the water situation in Maharashtra.

After a period of intermittent rains since June 1, the dam has finally started to see some significant inflow due to the recent heavy rains. It’s expected that by Friday afternoon, the dam will start filling up with much-needed water for the livestock.

As of 6 AM on July 26, 2024, the dam’s total water storage stands at 62.21 TMC, with live water storage at 1.26 TMC. The discharge from Daund is currently at 1,44,149 cusecs.

This recent inflow has brought a sigh of relief to farmers and residents in Pune, Solapur, and Ahmednagar districts. With better water availability on the horizon, there’s hope for a brighter future in the coming days.

So, let’s keep our fingers crossed for more rain and a steady rise in water levels. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story!
