Hey Pune peeps, did you know that amidst the heavy rainfall, the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited’s Pune circle engineers and employees are working tirelessly to restore electricity to almost all of its consumers? That’s right, they’ve managed to get power back to 97.7% of their customers, which is around 117,365 out of 120,000 people by reactivating 1,296 out of 1,327 transformers. Talk about dedication!

In Ektanagari on Sinhagad Road, things got a little dicey when 19 transformers were submerged due to the heavy downpour. But thanks to the quick action of the engineers and employees, power has been restored to 14 transformers already. Unfortunately, three were damaged and had to be replaced, but the team is on it. Keep it up, guys!

Over in the Maval area, repair work is still ongoing for 23 transformers in Bhorgiri and Karla. It’s not easy with all the muddy, slippery roads and soil subsidence, but they’re making progress. And in Rao and Kondhve Dhawade, about 350 consumers are getting their power back by the end of the day. Kudos to the team for their hard work!

With heavy rains causing chaos in Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, and surrounding areas, the electricity system took a hit. But thanks to the efforts of the MSEDCL crews, power has been restored to over 107,700 customers by Friday morning. Chief Engineer Rajendra Pawar and his team are working around the clock to ensure everyone gets their power back safely and quickly. Keep up the good work, guys!
