Hey Pune peeps, listen up! The Election Commission of India is currently on a voter registration drive in our district, so if you want to have a say in the upcoming assembly elections, you better register by August 16th.

You can head over to Prof Ramakrishna More College in Akurdi or Dr. DY Patil College in Nigdi to get yourself registered. The folks over there are spreading the word about how important it is to vote, so don’t miss out on this opportunity. Oh, and there’s also a special camp happening at Nagnath Maruti Gad Singh (Guruji) Junior College in Chinchwad, so check that out too.

But wait, there’s more! You can also register at various other locations like Bhor, Saswad, Panchsheel Nagar, Tingre Nagar, Magarpatta, Thergaon, and many more. The Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative is also in full swing to educate voters about this special campaign, especially focusing on getting new voters on board.

So, if you’re not on the voter list or need to make corrections, Deputy Election Officer Meenal Kalaskar is urging you to participate in this drive or contact the polling station officer at the nearest polling station. Let’s make our voices heard, Pune!
