Hey Pune folks, looks like the rainy season is causing some serious trouble in Koregaon Park! The compound wall of the ‘Popular Heights-2’ residential building collapsed in the middle of the night, and now the backside of the building is also falling apart. Yikes!

The PMC is not taking any chances and has issued evacuation notices to the residents of the building. That means around 300 to 400 people will have to find a new place to stay, at least until the building is deemed safe again.

But here’s the twist – residents are blaming the river beautification project for the flooding and damage. They are demanding either a new building or compensation from the PMC. The situation is getting tense, especially with the meteorological department issuing a ‘Yellow Alert’ for Pune city today.

Congress leader Sangeeta Tiwari is urging the administration to act fast and take necessary precautions. The PMC is not messing around either, warning residents to evacuate immediately. And if they don’t cooperate, the PMC will have the police step in.

It’s a chaotic situation in Koregaon Park, and residents are caught in the middle of it all. Let’s hope everyone stays safe and dry during this rainy season!
