In a bizarre turn of events in Pune, a woman has lodged a complaint against BJP MLA Siddharth Shirole for allegedly using her photo on a banner without her consent. The banner in question is related to the Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana, also known as the Chief Minister Dear Sister Scheme.

The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, met with Joint Commissioner of Police Ranjankumar Sharma to file her complaint. She claimed that her photo was used on the banner, causing confusion and disputes within her family. The banner, titled ‘Natyacha Maan, Mai-Bhaginicha Sanman’ (Respecting the relationship, honouring the sister), features photos of prominent political figures along with Shirole’s own image.

MLA Shirole has reportedly put up several such banners in his Shivajinagar Assembly Constituency, featuring images of the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Ministers, and others. The complainant has accused Shirole of engaging in improper and bogus activities by using her photo without permission.

In response to the complaint, Joint CP Sharma has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP-Crime) to investigate the matter. This incident has raised questions about the ethics and legalities surrounding the use of individuals’ photos without their consent. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
