Hey Pune peeps, did you hear about the latest news from Sassoon Hospital? The inquiry committee looking into the case of a destitute patient being abandoned has some serious recommendations for the two guilty doctors involved.

According to reports, the committee has suggested cancelling the registration of the doctors with the Indian Medical Association and even cancelling an academic term for both of them. Yikes, talk about serious consequences!

This whole scandal was brought to light by Ritesh Gaikwad and social worker Dadasaheb Gaikwad, who uncovered the shocking truth. A three-tier committee was set up to investigate the matter, and they wasted no time in getting to the bottom of things.

In addition to the registration cancellations and academic term cancellations, the committee also recommended that the doctors be kicked out of the hostel for a whopping six months. Looks like they won’t be getting any warm welcomes anytime soon.

Sassoon Hospital Dean Dr Eknath Pawar had this to say about the situation: “The inquiry committee has submitted its report on the abandoned patient case. We will be making a decision on the recommendations soon.”

Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story, Pune!
