  2. The woman’s 36-year-old husband lodged a complaint with the Deccan Gymkhana Police, leading to two doctors, Dr Prashant Yadav and Dr Swapnil Nage, being booked in connection with the case.
  3. The woman, who worked as a quality engineer in Kharadi, had sought a weight loss programme at Designer Clinic in Erandwane, where she was advised to undergo a liposuction surgery.

  5. Despite undergoing treatment for three months, the woman’s condition did not improve, leading to her being bed-ridden and unable to communicate except for opening and closing her eyelids, as per her husband’s complaint.
  6. The case has been registered by the police, and Sr PI Nimbalkar is currently investigating the matter further to ensure justice for the victim and hold those responsible for the negligence accountable.
