The recent ink attack on a PWD junior engineer in Rajgad Taluka has caused quite a stir in the community. Sangram Anantrao Thopate, during a committee meeting, urged officials to fix the deteriorating roads in the area. However, despite these instructions, no repairs have been made, leading to frustration among residents. In response, Congress activists threw ink at Junior Engineer Saiprasad Mangilwar to show their displeasure.

Mangilwar has since filed a complaint with the Velhe Police Station, accusing the activists of obstructing his work and threatening him. The attack took place at the PWD Velhe building, where Mangilwar was working.

The coordination committee meeting, chaired by MLA Sangram Thopate, had highlighted concerns about the poor road conditions in several villages in Rajgad Taluka. Despite Thopate’s directive for immediate repairs, the PWD failed to take action, prompting the ink attack by Congress workers.

Following the incident, a case has been registered against Congress Rajgad Taluka Youth President Shivraj Shendkar, Mahesh Jadhav, and several other individuals. The situation remains tense as authorities investigate the matter further.
