Big changes are happening in the Pune police department ahead of the State Assembly elections. A total of 15 officers have been shuffled around in a major shake-up.

DCP Vijaykumar Magar is saying goodbye to Pune and heading to the Police Training Centre in Latur as its principal. This means three new DCPs are stepping in to take his place.

Gondia SP Nikhil Pingale, Hingoli SP G Sridhar, and ACB, Nanded, SP Rajkumar Shinde are the new DCPs in town. They will surely have their hands full with the upcoming elections.

Meanwhile, PMRDA Vigilance Officer (SP) Digambar Pradhan is packing his bags for Mumbai, where he will now serve as the DCP.
