1. A cargo truck was involved in a tragic accident on May 27 around 10.30 pm. The truck, headed towards Pune from Wagholi, collided with a motorcycle near Zakat Naka signal. The driver, Shyambabu Rampal Gautam, has been detained for further investigation. Sadly, two college students from Latur lost their lives in the accident. Let’s hope for a speedy recovery for the injured individual.
2. In another unfortunate incident on the same day, an MSRTC bus hit a senior citizen and her grandchild near Fatima Nagar. The elderly woman lost her life, while the child sustained injuries. The driver of the bus has been taken into custody by the Wanowrie police station. Our thoughts go out to the family affected by this tragedy.
