Yeah, you heard that right. He even went as far as setting up fake medical exams at a hospital in Ahmednagar to make it all seem legit.
The victims, who hailed from different parts of the country, were duped by Bisht’s smooth talk and false promises. Thankfully, the Military Intelligence unit of the Army’s Southern Command in Pune caught wind of this scam and tipped off the cops in Ahmednagar.
Now, Bisht is in hot water and facing charges for his actions. The police are digging deeper into this case to see if there are others involved in this racket. Kudos to the Ahmednagar Police team for cracking down on this fraudster and putting an end to his deceitful ways.
