If you’ve been following the news in Pune lately, you might have heard about the heart-wrenching case of a missing 10-year-old mentally challenged girl from Bibvewadi. The young girl, daughter of a labourer, went missing on Monday evening, leaving her family in a state of panic.

Thankfully, after a massive all-night search operation by the Pune city police, the girl was found safe in the Kondhwa area. The search was launched after the girl was last seen on CCTV footage at Katraj Chowk, sparking fears of a possible abduction.

Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar and Joint Commissioner of Police Ranjan Kumar Sharma personally visited the Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station to oversee the investigation. With the help of around 300 police personnel, including the Crime Branch, they were able to locate the missing girl in the early hours of the morning.

It turns out that there was no foul play involved; the girl had simply wandered off due to her mental condition. The successful recovery of the girl brought a wave of relief to her family and the entire police force involved in the search operation.

It’s heartwarming to see the community come together in times of crisis, and this case serves as a reminder of the importance of staying vigilant and looking out for one another. Let’s all take a moment to appreciate the hard work and dedication of the Pune city police in ensuring the safety of our citizens.
