Hey Pune peeps, big news coming your way! Two more individuals have been nabbed in connection with the blood-swapping scandal at Sassoon General Hospital. This whole drama was apparently orchestrated to help out a minor who was involved in a DUI case in Kalyani Nagar Porsche accident.

So, who are these new suspects? Aditya Avinash Sood and Satish Mittal, ages 52 and 36 respectively, are the latest to be implicated in this case. They allegedly assisted the minor’s father, Vishal Agarwal, in contacting Dr. Ajay Taware, who was previously arrested for his involvement in the blood sample swap.

For those of you who may have missed the previous updates, the list of accused in this case keeps growing. We already have Vishal Agarwal, his wife Shivani Agarwal, Dr. Ajay Taware, Dr. Shrihari Halnor, peon Atul Ghatkamble, Ashpak Makandar, and Amar Gaikwad behind bars. They are currently cooling their heels in Yerawada Central Jail while awaiting their bail hearing scheduled for today.

In case you’re wondering what started this whole mess, it all began on May 19th when a speeding Porsche driven by a minor (who was allegedly drunk) caused the deaths of two young IT engineers in Kalyani Nagar. Following the accident, the minor was rushed to Sassoon General Hospital for tests. That’s when the blood-swapping shenanigans allegedly took place, with the minor’s blood being switched with his mother’s, as well as two other minors who were with him at the time.

Vishal Agarwal, the minor’s father, reportedly greased the wheels by paying a hefty sum to Dr. Taware through Makandar and Gaikwad. Sood and Mittal, who apparently knew both Agarwal and Dr. Taware, played a pivotal role in setting up this shady deal.

The Pune Police’s Crime Branch wasted no time in rounding up Sood and Mittal, and they are set to face the music in court today. Stay tuned for more updates on this gripping saga!
