Well, folks, it seems like drama knows no age limit in Bibwewadi! A senior citizen, Satish Murlidhar Dhole, has landed himself in hot water after attacking a young man, Kartikesh Dashrath Rane, with a knife. The two apparently have a history of bad blood and things came to a head in Lower Indira Nagar on August 17.

Rane, a 23-year-old resident of Kondhwa Budruk, didn’t take the attack lying down. He promptly reported the incident to the Bibwewadi Police Station, leading to Dhole’s arrest. Now, Dhole, who is 60 years old, is facing some serious charges under the Maharashtra Police Act of 1951.

The altercation took place near the Shani Temple where Rane runs a puja material shop. Talk about bringing bad blood to holy grounds! It turns out that both the accused and the victim live in the same society in Kondhwa and had clashed before during Diwali last year. Looks like some grudges just don’t fade away!

According to the police, Dhole approached Rane at his shop and started the altercation by asking if he was there to beat him. The situation quickly escalated, leading to the knife attack and Rane sustaining injuries to his fingers in the scuffle.

The case is now in the hands of Police Sub-Inspector Ashok Yewale, who is digging deeper into this messy situation. Who would’ve thought that a peaceful neighborhood like Bibwewadi could be the backdrop for such a heated confrontation? Stay tuned for more updates on this spicy story!
