Pune Airport has just stepped up its game with the introduction of a new MI Room that offers free medical services to passengers. This initiative was officially launched with the help of Murlidhar Mohol, Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation. The inauguration event saw the presence of important officials like Santosh Dhoke, Airport Director, and Dr. Purvez Grant, Chairman and Managing Trustee of Grant Medical Foundation.

Located in the Check-in area of the New Terminal Building, the MI Room is staffed by medical professionals from Ruby Hall Clinic and is open 24/7 to cater to all kinds of medical needs of travelers. To further enhance passenger safety, Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) have been strategically placed around the terminal. These AEDs are crucial in providing immediate assistance during sudden cardiac arrests.

In addition to the MI Room and AEDs, an ambulance is also stationed on the city side of the airport to ensure prompt response to medical emergencies. These measures highlight Pune Airport’s dedication to passenger well-being and safety, promising a secure and comfortable experience for all travelers.
