Zara, the global fashion retailer owned by Inditex, is making waves in India with the opening of its 23rd store in the country. The new store, located at the Phoenix Mall of the Millennium in Pune, is a significant milestone in Zara’s expansion strategy in India.

Covering an impressive 24,500 square feet of retail space, the new Zara store in Pune is one of the largest outlets in the country. With a spacious layout spanning two floors, customers can explore a wide range of women’s, men’s, and kids’ fashion, including a dedicated area for men’s shoes.

One of the key features of the new store is its integration of modern services with Zara’s app. Customers can make fitting room reservations, collect online orders, and check real-time stock availability. Additionally, shoppers can order items online and pick them up in-store within two hours, making for a seamless shopping experience.

Himanshu Luthra, head of expansion at Inditex Trent Retail India Pvt. Ltd., expressed excitement about Zara’s growth in India and highlighted the company’s commitment to sustainability. Zara, along with other Inditex labels like Pull & Bear and Bershka, aims to achieve climate neutrality by 2040.

Zara first entered the Indian market in 2010 through a joint venture with Tata Group, known as Inditex Trent. Since then, the brand has expanded its presence across the country, with the new store in Pune showcasing Zara’s dedication to enhancing its retail footprint in India.
