Tropicool, the popular Brazilian superfood brand, is making waves in India with plans for a major expansion. Founded in 2019 by Rafael do Prado Ribeiro and Caio Nabuco in Brazil, Tropicool has quickly become a household name in the superfood market. Thanks to Rohit Gupta and Randall Fernandes, who introduced the brand to India by opening the first Tropicool Açaí and Café in Mumbai, Tropicool now boasts 11 outlets across the country and is looking to grow even further.

To cater to the diverse tastes of Indian consumers, Tropicool is integrating local ingredients and flavors into its menu, ensuring that its offerings appeal to the Indian palate. The brand is focusing on key cities like Pune, Delhi, Bangalore, and Goa, with the goal of selling 30,000 liters of açaí products by the end of the fiscal year.

With a target of achieving Rs 15 crore in sales by the end of the fiscal year, Tropicool is measuring its success through key performance indicators like sales volume. The brand’s annual production capacity of approximately 500 million liters of juice positions it well to reach its ambitious goals.

In addition to its presence in India, Tropicool has franchises and distribution channels in countries like the USA, Australia, UAE, Japan, Netherlands, and Spain. This expansion comes at a time when several mid-sized global cafes and restaurant brands are entering the Indian market, focusing on niche markets and introducing diverse cuisines to stay profitable.

Overall, Tropicool’s expansion in India reflects its commitment to innovation, community engagement, and strategic growth. By combining Brazilian superfoods with Indian flavors, Tropicool is set to make a significant impact on the superfood and café industry in India.
