Hey Pune peeps, it looks like there’s some shady business going on in Narayangaon. A 65-year-old woman got duped by two conmen pretending to be sadhus. These guys showed up at her place early in the morning and claimed they could help her with her problems. Classic conman move, am I right?

They started pulling out all sorts of items from their bag – a rose, a lemon, and a rudraksh – and even blew some mysterious powder in her face. Before she knew it, the woman was handing over Rs 3,000 in cash and her gold chain. The conmen wrapped it all up in paper and told her to place it at her home altar as part of a ‘puja.’

But surprise, surprise, when the woman checked later, both the cash and the gold chain were nowhere to be found. Talk about a sneaky trick! She ended up filing a complaint at the Narayangaon police station the next day.

So, folks, be careful out there and watch out for these so-called sadhus trying to pull a fast one on you. Stay safe and keep your valuables close!
