Hey there, folks! Sad news coming out of Alandi today as a female police constable tragically died by suicide yesterday. The incident took place on the Indrayani River Bridge around 5:30 PM. The young constable has been identified as Anushka Suhas Kedar, a 20-year-old resident of Dighi.
Anushka was a dedicated member of the Pune Rural Police Force and was currently stationed at the Pune Rural Headquarters. Senior Police Inspector Bheema Narke shared that she jumped into the river from the Garuda pillar near the new bridge over the Indrayani River. The Alandi Police quickly responded to the scene, but due to the recent heavy rains, the search for Anushka in the swollen river is proving to be quite challenging.
