- Swapnil Kusale, the shooting champion, was seen enjoying the festivities alongside Govindas and even took the opportunity to urge the youth to preserve Hindu culture and strengthen the Hindu Rashtra.
- The residents of Baner-Balewadi showed their support for Swapnil Kusale by presenting him with a cheque for Rs 5 lakh and a citation during the event. Amol Balwadkar expressed his happiness over the historic celebration and praised Swapnil for his symbolic achievement in the Olympic Games.
- The Dahi-Handi function turned into a grand celebration with the DJ performance by KRATEX A-Y0 and the addition of SFX and PYRO Effects. Attendees couldn’t resist dancing to the tunes of Krishna songs.
- The Govinda teams stole the show by forming impressive human pyramids of multiple layers, winning the hearts of all those present. The event saw a huge turnout of citizens from various areas, including Baner, Balewadi, Pashan, Sus, Mahalunge, the Kothrud Assembly constituency, and rural areas of the district.
