Hey there, folks of Pimpri Chinchwad! Big news for the children of waste pickers in the PCMC area – they’re going to get some much-needed financial assistance for their education. The aim? To help these kids improve their standard of living and make sure they don’t have to drop out of school because of money problems.

So, who’s eligible for this educational financial aid? Well, students from Class I to X are in luck. But of course, there’s some paperwork involved. You’ll need to submit your Aadhaar card, voter ID card, last year’s mark sheet, a bonafide certificate of admission, and your bank account passbook. Oh, and don’t forget a certificate proving that your parent is a registered waste picker’s association member.

And here’s the cherry on top – if you manage to score 50% or more marks in Classes VIII to X, you’ll get Rs. 7,000 in financial aid. That’s some good motivation to hit the books, right?

This scheme has been given the green light by PCMC Commissioner and Administrator Shekhar Singh, so you know it’s legit. So, waste picker kids, get those documents ready and go chase that education dream!
