The Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Mandal in Pune is making waves this year with the introduction of the traditional Abhishek service during the Ganpati Festival. As the first Ganpati mandal in Hindustan, the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust is finally fulfilling the requests of devotees by offering this revered ritual. Registration for the service is now open, giving devotees the chance to participate in this sacred event.

One of the most innovative enhancements to this year’s festival, the Abhishek service allows devotees to bathe the deity with auspicious substances in a more modern way. By offering online registration and phone sign-ups, the mandal is seamlessly blending traditional practices with contemporary conveniences.

In a significant announcement made by Celebration Chief and Trustee Punit Balan, the Abhishek service will be available from 6 am to 11 am throughout the 10-day Ganeshotsav. Those interested in participating can register by phone, online, or in person at the mandap based on slot availability.

With no fixed fee for the Abhishek service, donations are voluntary and can be made according to the devotee’s preference. Participants are required to bring ‘Panchamrut’ and ‘Pedha Prasad’ to take part in the ritual.

Devotees who have long awaited the introduction of the Abhishek service are encouraged to reach out via phone or visit the website to complete their registration. The Trust’s commitment to preserving tradition while embracing modernity is evident in this new addition to the Ganpati Festival in Pune.
