Hey Pune folks, it looks like the Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar is not messing around when it comes to dealing with extortionists in the city’s IT Park. According to reports, there have been incidents of individuals trying to strong-arm private companies into giving them contracts for services like housekeeping and transportation in areas like Kharadi.

Commissioner Kumar has made it clear that any attempts to extort private companies will not be taken lightly. He has warned that those involved in such activities will face strict legal action, including potential charges under the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA).

In a recent development, two individuals named Vaibhav Pacharane and Somnath Pathare from Kharadi have been charged for illegally entering a company premises and issuing threats to the management.
