Hey Pune commuters, we’ve got some important traffic updates for you! If you’re used to taking the Shitladevi Chowk to Pune route via Phugewadi Dapodi flyover, you might want to rethink your journey. The flyover is closed, but don’t worry, we’ve got some alternate routes for you.
Instead, try making a right turn from Shitladevi Chowk via Sangvi to Phugewadi Chowk via Harris Bridge subway to Bopodi. And remember, entry is prohibited from Babar Petrol Pump to Bhosari PLAY & WIN flyover. To get around this, take the Bhosari Flyover, do a U-turn at Dhanadewasti, head towards Sadgurunagar Chowk, go under Bhosari Bridge towards Dighi and Alandi.
In Sangvi, there are some traffic changes happening on Sept 13 from 4 pm to 12 am. Krishna Chowk to Famous Chowk is closed, so you’ll need to take the Sangvi Mahatma Phule Bridge via Old Sangvi Water Tank instead. Maheshwari Chowk to Old Sangvi is also closed, so detour through Bank of Maharashtra, Old Sangvi Marg Aundh or Water Tank via Old Sangvi to Sangvi Mahatma Phule Bridge.
And in Hinjewadi, from Sept 13 to 17 from 4 pm to 12 am, there are some road closures you need to be aware of. Tata T Junction Chowk to Geometrical Circle and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk are prohibited, so take the detour through Lakshmi Chowk from Tata T Junction Chowk. Geometrical Circle Chowk to Meza Nau Chowk is also prohibited, so head back to Tata T Junction Chowk via Lakshmi Chowk. And lastly, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk to Hinjawadi Gaothan is off limits, so detour through Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk, Wipro Circle, Phase One Chowk, Geometrical Circle, and Tata T Junction.
