The accident in Kolwadi, Junnar this morning left eight passengers injured, with two children and a woman in critical condition. The collision occurred as the vehicles swerved to avoid potholes on the road at 7:30 am. An Ertiga car from Alephata and a minibus from Thane collided head-on, causing significant damage.
Ambulance drivers Deepak Mandlik, Kunal Dumbare, Ganesh Amle, and Datta Shinde rushed to the scene and transported the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. Local youths and Otur police personnel also assisted by providing first aid, clearing the road, and managing traffic flow to prevent further accidents. Great to see the community come together in times of need!
