Hey there, folks! Today we have a shocking story coming out of Pune’s Camp Area involving a doctor from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC). It seems that cyber criminals managed to swindle a whopping Rs 1,22,53,000 from this unsuspecting doctor by luring him with promises of high returns on stock market investments.

The 32-year-old doctor, who remains unnamed, fell victim to a text message from the scammers, who claimed that he could make big bucks by investing in the stock market. Eager to make some extra cash, the doctor followed their instructions and downloaded an app that supposedly provided valuable stock market information.

As time went on, the doctor dutifully deposited money into an account provided by the criminals, who kept assuring him that he was making huge profits. In fact, they even went as far as to tell him that he had earned a mind-boggling Rs 10.26 Crore! However, when the doctor tried to withdraw his so-called earnings, he was hit with a demand for 5% of the profits, amounting to Rs 46 lakh 45 thousand 856, as a fee to access his money.

Realizing that he was being taken for a ride, the doctor finally reached out to the cyber police station and lodged a complaint. Now, Senior Police Inspector Suresh Shinde is on the case, trying to track down these cunning cyber criminals who have left a hardworking doctor out of pocket.

It’s a cautionary tale, folks. Always be wary of get-rich-quick schemes and promises that seem too good to be true. Stay safe out there in the digital world!
