Hey there, folks! It looks like the political scene in Maharashtra is heating up as the state gears up for legislative elections. With every party getting ready to kick off their campaigns, discussions on seat allocations among the Mahayuti alliance are already in full swing.

The Republican Party of India – Athawale (RPI-A) has come out with guns blazing, demanding a total of 20 seats for the upcoming elections. Union Minister of State Ramdas Athawale made the announcement at a press conference in Pune, where he highlighted the party’s performance in the previous elections and stressed the need for proper recognition within the alliance.

Ramdas Athawale didn’t hold back as he pointed out that the RPI is a nationally recognized party and deserves to be taken seriously by the other parties in Mahayuti. He also called on all three parties to respect the RPI’s demands and work towards a fair allocation of seats.

Speaking of seat allocations, Ramdas Athawale also brought up the issue of the Chief Ministerial post. He argued that the party with the most MLAs should rightfully be given the Chief Minister position, with the party with fewer seats taking on the role of Deputy Chief Minister. It’s definitely a point worth considering as the political landscape continues to evolve.

With the Chief Ministerial candidates for both Mahavikas Aghadi and Mahayuti yet to be decided, it looks like we’ll have to wait until after the elections to see how everything plays out. In the meantime, the race is on and it’s shaping up to be an exciting one. Stay tuned for more updates as the political drama unfolds!
