Hey there, folks! It seems like the residents of Katraj are facing some serious road trouble as the widening of the Katraj-Kondhwa road has hit a roadblock. Not only that, but the existing road has developed some massive potholes that are causing quite a headache for the locals.

The situation has gotten so bad that the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) had to step in and lay some asphalt on the road to fill up the potholes. However, it looks like the job was not done properly as cracks started appearing on the road just a day later.

One of the worst affected areas is Rajas Society Chowk on the Katraj-Kondhwa road, where heavy vehicles frequently pass through, causing even more damage to the already deteriorating road. The residents are understandably upset with the administration for not taking care of the road in a timely manner.

Aniruddha Pawaskar, the Chief Engineer of the Road Department, along with Sahebrao Dandge, the Superintending Engineer, have ordered for the potholes to be filled immediately. However, it seems like the quality of the asphalt used was not up to par, leading to the quick deterioration of the road.

Pawaskar has assured the residents that an investigation will be conducted to determine the cause of the potholes and the quality of the asphalt used. He has also promised that action will be taken against those responsible for the shoddy work.

So, if you’re planning on taking a drive down the Katraj-Kondhwa road anytime soon, you might want to brace yourself for a bumpy ride. Let’s hope that the authorities can fix this mess sooner rather than later!
