The Kolhapur Tuskers are gearing up for the second season of the Maharashtra Premier League T20 cricket tournament with some big names in their squad. Captain Kedar Jadhav, Vice-Captain Shrikant Mundhe, and Kashmiri cricketer Umar Shah are set to headline the Tusker attack this season.

At a recent team jersey unveiling ceremony, owner Punit Balan introduced the star players, including last season’s highest run scorer Ankit Bawne and U-19 world cup star Sachin Dhas. The team management has also made some key additions in the form of IPL player Shrikant Mundhe and wicket-keeper batsman Aniket Porwal.

With a theme of ‘De Takkar’ (Take the Challenge), the Tuskers are focused on playing an exciting brand of cricket and aiming for the title this season. Skipper Kedar Jadhav emphasized the importance of dedication and commitment in every match, rather than just focusing on the end result.

Having finished as runners-up in the inaugural edition of the league, the Kolhapur Tuskers are determined to go one step further this time. The team has undergone rigorous pre-season training and is ready to kick-off their campaign against Ratnagiri Jets.

Fans can expect an action-packed season from the Tuskers, with the mega final set to take place on June 22 at the MCA stadium in Gahunje. Stay tuned for more updates on their journey in the Maharashtra Premier League 2024.
