Hey there, Pune peeps! Big news coming your way from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) – the results of the Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) are out! Out of the whopping 10,752 students who applied, 2,761 have made the cut while 6,346 unfortunately didn’t make it this time.

The exam was held online at different centres across Pune, Ahmednagar, and Nashik. Surprisingly, 1,645 students decided to skip the exam altogether – maybe they were too nervous or just had better plans for the day.

But don’t worry if you didn’t qualify this time, SPPU is gearing up to announce the admission process soon. There were approximately 1,200 seats up for grabs in SPPU departments and research centres, and that doesn’t even include vacancies in autonomous colleges. So, there’s still hope for those aspiring Ph.D. scholars out there!

SPPU has already released a circular advising students to log in and download their results, so make sure to check your status. Stay tuned for more updates on the admission process and best of luck to all the future Ph.D. candidates out there!
