  2. The Hinjawadi Industries Association (HIA) shared the survey findings with the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), prompting them to issue a notice to the Pune IT City Metro Rail Limited (PITCMRL) to repair the roads within 15 days.
  3. Lt Col (Retd) Yogesh Joshi, Vice President of HIA, stated that a meeting was held to address waterlogging issues in Hinjawadi, with identified problem areas and potential solutions discussed.
  4. Despite resurfacing efforts already underway, HIA officials remain concerned about the effectiveness of these temporary fixes and have urged for both short-term and long-term solutions to be implemented.
  5. The inspection found six major waterlogging spots in the area, with debris in water channels largely attributed to TPL, which has promised a temporary fix by August 31, 2024, shifting blame to Rahul Cables.
  6. The HIA is calling on PMRDA to ensure all agencies meet their obligations and address drainage issues, particularly in Gram Panchayat areas, to prevent future flooding incidents.
