Hey there, folks! Today we’ve got some juicy news coming out of Sahakar Nagar. Four minors have been caught red-handed by Pune Police for robbing people at knifepoint. Yep, you read that right! These youngsters were on a crime spree and managed to snatch goods worth a whopping Rs 2.68 lakh from unsuspecting citizens.
It all went down on 10th September on the Pune-Satara Road when these young bandits targeted a man waiting for his friend at D Mart Square. Armed with a knife, they made off with his mobile phone, bag, and cash from his pocket. Talk about nerve!
But fear not, justice prevailed! The Detection Branch (DB) of Sahakar Nagar Police Station swung into action and managed to nab these troublemakers. A case has been registered against them under various sections related to robbery and acting with common intention. These kids are in for a tough ride!
During the investigation, Police Constables Mahesh Mandlik and Amit Padmale received a tip-off from a secret source about the whereabouts of one of the culprits. They set a trap and caught him red-handed near Dias Plot, Gultekdi. And guess what? He spilled the beans about his accomplices, leading to the arrest of the other three minors in Pimpri.
The police team, under the leadership of some top-notch officers including Additional Commissioner of Police (West) Praveen Kumar Patil, did an excellent job in cracking this case. They managed to recover all the stolen items, including the mobile phone, knife, and two-wheeler used in the robbery. Kudos to them for their swift action!
