Katraj was the scene of yet another tragic accident on Tuesday morning, as a young woman lost her life in a collision involving a tanker and a two-wheeler. The victim, identified as 26-year-old Manasi Ashok Pawar, was on her way to Katraj Kondhwa Road when the incident occurred.
This is the third fatality to occur at Katraj Chowk in recent days, adding to the concerns about road safety in the area. Just a few days ago, a contract PMPML worker and another young woman also lost their lives in separate accidents at the same location.
The Assistant Police Inspector, Sameer Shende, has confirmed that the victim’s body has been sent for post-mortem at Sassoon Hospital, and investigations are ongoing. The Bharti University Police are actively looking into the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
