Hey folks, did you catch a glimpse of the early Ganpati processions in Pune recently? The immersion processions drew people of all ages, eager to get a glimpse of the revered deity. But hey, let’s talk about the not-so-fun part – the scorching sun and clear skies made it pretty challenging for everyone out there.

Eyewitnesses reported that the heat was intense and the crowd was massive for the darshan of Lord Ganesha. Oof, sounds like a tough day, right?

But wait, there’s more – some drummers ended up getting injured during the procession and are currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. Yikes, hope they recover soon!

To prevent such incidents in the future, the Pune Police Vighnaharta Nyas Emergency Medical Aid Team came to the rescue. They deployed ambulances at key locations like Belbag Chowk, Alka Talkies Chowk, SP College Chowk, and Puram Chowk. Way to go, guys!

And that’s not all – additional emergency medical aid centers were also set up at various spots around the city. Gokhale Hall on Lakshmi Road, near Sweet Home on Kumthekar Road, near Narayan Peth Police Chowki, and S P College Chowk on Tilak Road were all equipped to handle any emergencies that popped up.

Despite the challenges, the procession continued with dedication and enthusiasm, showing off Pune’s true spirit and commitment to its traditions. Now that’s the kind of resilience we love to see!
