Alright folks, here’s the scoop on the latest updates from Central Railway’s Pune Division. Get ready for some traffic and power blocks as they gear up for some pre-NI and NI works at Rahuri-Padhegaon Stations in connection with the Doubling Project of Daund-Manmad Section.

The Pre-NI work will kick off on 19th September and run through to the 21st, with blocks being operated for 3 hours each day. Then, the NI work will take place for 34 hours starting from 5:30 am on 22nd September and wrapping up at 3:30 pm on 23rd September.

Now, what does this mean for train operations? Brace yourselves for some cancellations and diversions. Trains like the Dadar-Sainagar Shirdi Express, Nizamabad-Daund DMU, Pune-Hazur Sahib Nanded Express, and more will face cancellations on specific dates.

But fear not, some trains will be diverted as well. For instance, the Jammu Tawi-Pune Jhelum Express will take a different route via Manmad-Igatpuri-Kalyan-Panvel-Lonavala on the 21st. And the Pune-Hazur Sahib Nanded Express will be diverted via Daund-Kurduwadi-Latur-Parli Vaijnath-Parbhani on the 22nd.

Don’t forget about the re-scheduling of trains on the 23rd. The Pune-Amravati Express will leave Pune at 2:35 pm instead of 11:05 am, giving passengers a bit more time to get ready.

These blocks may cause some inconvenience, but they are essential for the modernization of railway infrastructure and will ultimately lead to better connectivity. So, hang in there, passengers, and thank you for your understanding.
