Pune is all set to host the third leg of the FMSCI Indian National Rally Sprint Championship 2024 for two-wheelers. The event will take place at the Nanoli Speedway and will feature 95 riders competing for victory. This round will serve as a qualifier for the final event in December, making it a crucial moment in the championship which includes a total of 13 races.

Some of the top riders to watch out for include Badal Doshi from Mumbai, Amarendra Sathe and Pinkesh Thakkar from Pune, and Rajesh N Swami from Raigad. Suhail Ahmad, who has already shown his skills in previous rounds, is also expected to be a strong contender in the upcoming race.

After the Pune race, the championship will move on to Indore on October 5, 2024, Guwahati on November 24, 2024, and conclude with the final round in either Pune or Bangalore on December 14-15, 2024. The final round will see competitors from each zone competing for the ultimate title.

Gautam Shantappa, Vice President of FMSCI, expressed his excitement for the strong participation in the third round, with over 95 entries. He mentioned that the competition will be intense and praised the top riders for their readiness to compete in the championship. Shantappa also highlighted the growing interest in the sport and the positive sign of more riders getting involved in the event.
