Former State Minister Vijay Shivtare recently met with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to discuss the exclusion of Fursungi and Uruli Devachi from the PMC. Although the decision was reached during their initial meeting, the official announcement was delayed. However, on September 11, just before the election code of conduct came into effect, an order was finally issued to remove the villages from the PMC and establish their own Municipal Council.

With the establishment of the new council, residents are hopeful for improved services and faster implementation of local governance. The challenges faced by the council will undoubtedly be met with determination as they work towards providing better living conditions for the residents of Fursungi and Uruli Devachi. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
