Are you ready for a vibrant and festive celebration in Baner? The Saptapadi Cultural and Sports Association is all set to host its 3rd Annual Durgapuja from October 8th to 13th at Saafa Banquets on Balewadi High Street.

This year’s Durgapuja will have a special theme honoring Maa Kaali, Maa Saraswati, and Maa Laxmi to mark the event’s three-year anniversary. The celebration will include traditional Bengali rituals, cultural performances, and a lively atmosphere.

A highlight of the festival will be a stunning statue of the goddess crafted in the Rajwadi style, drawing devotees and visitors alike. The organizers have invited NGOs, individuals from diverse backgrounds, and high-profile delegates to join in the festivities.

Attendees can look forward to a variety of cultural programs, including folk-fusion songs, instrumental music, and traditional dance performances by renowned artists. There will also be an in-house performance of the traditional Dhunuchi Dance by a group of 20 members.

An “Anandmela” food festival will allow guests to share home-cooked Bengali delicacies, fostering camaraderie and community bonds. Special arrangements have been made for bhog on Saptami, Ashtami, Navami, and Dashami.

To add to the festive atmosphere, a flea market will be set up offering a range of products from food and beverages to clothing and jewelry, providing a unique shopping experience.

The Saptapadi Durgapuja 2024 will kick off on October 8th and conclude on Dashami, October 12th, with daily pujas and cultural events. Don’t miss out on the much-anticipated Sindur Khela event!
