Good news for commuters in Pune! Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has launched a new direct bus service from Kothrud Depot to Alandi. This service is specifically catered to passengers and devotees looking to visit the revered Shree Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Samadhi Mandir.

The inauguration ceremony, held today, was graced by former corporator Monika Mohol, the wife of Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation and Pune MP, Murlidhar Mohol. Social activist Kisan Mohol, Kirtankar HBP Dharmaraj Hande Maharaj, former corporators, and current and former office bearers were also present at the event.

The new bus service operates from Kothrud Depot to Alandi from 6:05 AM to 6:15 PM, with return trips from Alandi to Kothrud Depot scheduled from 7:40 AM to 8:05 PM. Key stops along the route include VanajMore Vidyalaya, Deccan Corner, Fergusson College, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Building, Wakadewadi, Mula Road, Vishrantwadi, Dighi, Shri Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Thorlya Paduka Mandir, Dehu Phata, and Alandi Gaon.

PMPML expects a positive response to this new service, which aims to benefit devotees, students, senior citizens, women, and working professionals. By providing convenient access to the Shree Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Samadhi Mandir and reliable transportation options for various groups of commuters, this initiative is set to enhance the public transport network in Pune and make significant cultural and spiritual sites more accessible to residents and visitors.
