- The park, strategically located between Wanowrie Bazar Police Chowky and the Military Intelligence Training School and Depot (MINTSD), features a central monument of Bharat Mata symbolizing the vital role of intelligence officers, walls of valor with busts of fallen heroes, and reflection spaces for quiet remembrance.
- The emotional inauguration ceremony was attended by 18 Veer Naris (widows) or Next of Kin (NOKs) of the fallen heroes, including Lt Col Leena Bajaj, widow of Captain Jitesh Bhutani, and Palak Kumar, daughter of Subedar Rakesh, who shared their personal stories of sacrifice and resilience.
- Ganesh Chaurasia and Meenakumari, parents of Major Ganesh, who sacrificed his life in Assam, were also present at the event, reflecting on their son’s bravery and legacy.
- Sunita Mehta, widow of Brigadier Ravi Datt Mehta, a Kirti Chakra awardee, expressed her hope that the park would educate the public about her husband’s extraordinary contributions to the nation.
- The Satark Heroes Park serves as a lasting tribute to military intelligence personnel, providing educational insights into their crucial role in national security, and offering a serene gathering space for families and community members to reflect and remember the sacrifices made for the nation.
