Hey there, Pune peeps! Here’s a quick update on what went down on the old Pune-Mumbai highway last night.
So, picture this: a private bus traveling from Bengaluru to Jaipur suddenly goes up in flames near Waghjai temple. Crazy, right? But don’t worry, all 33 passengers, as well as the driver and cleaner, managed to get out unharmed. Phew!
The cause of the fire is still a mystery, but don’t worry, investigators are on the case. In the meantime, shoutout to the IRB personnel and fire brigade for swooping in and saving the day. Unfortunately, the bus didn’t make it and was completely destroyed by the fire. RIP bus.
Of course, all this drama caused a massive traffic jam on the highway, with cars backed up for miles. Not the best way to end your Sunday, that’s for sure.
