Shocking news out of Daund today as a man is arrested for the murder of his own father. The incident occurred in Pune district and has left the community in shock. According to Police Inspector Gopal Pawar, the victim, Sunil Laxman Randive, had asked his unemployed son, Sachin Sunil Randive, to leave the house, which ultimately led to the fatal confrontation.
It seems that Sachin was facing a number of challenges in his life, including unemployment and marital issues. His wife had recently left him and returned to her parents’ home after arguments. When Sachin tried to reconcile with her on 6th October, she refused to return home, sparking a heated argument between Sachin and his parents.
In a fit of rage, Sachin reportedly struck his father with a concrete paver block while he was asleep. Sunil Randive was rushed to the hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries. The entire community is mourning the loss of Sunil, a well-known resident of Sathe Nagar in Daund.
This heartbreaking incident serves as a reminder of the importance of addressing mental health and family conflicts in a timely manner. Our thoughts go out to the Randive family during this difficult time.
