Hey there, folks in Pune! Exciting news for all you travelers gearing up for Diwali and Chhat celebrations. Railways have just announced the launch of Diwali/Chhat Superfast special trains between Latur and Hadapsar, and we’ve got all the juicy details for you.
Starting from 25th October 2024, the Latur-Hadapsar Diwali/Chhat Super-fast Special train (Train No. 01429) will be making its rounds four days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The train will depart from Latur at 09.30 hrs and reach Hadapsar at 15.30 hrs on the same day. The service will run until 11th November 2024, totaling 10 trips.
For the return journey, train no. 01430 will depart from Hadapsar at 16.05 hrs on the same four days of the week, reaching Latur at 21.30 hrs. You can catch this train from 25th October to 11th November 2024 as well, making a total of 10 trips.
The train will make halts at Harangul, Osmanabad, Barshi Town, Kurduwadi, Jeur, and Daund Junction. And get this – the composition of the train includes one First AC, one AC-2 Tier, two AC-3 Tier, eight Sleeper Class, and six General Second Class coaches, along with two Luggage cum Guard’s brake vans. That’s a total of 18 ICF Coaches, folks!
Now, for all you eager beavers looking to snag a seat on this special train, reservations will open on 18th October 2024. You can book your tickets at all computerized reservation centers and on the IRCTC website.
