Hey Pune folks, have you heard the latest news? Newly elected Member of Parliament Murlidhar Mohol was given a grand felicitation by Ganesh mandals, Navratrotsav mandals, and Dhol-Tasha pathaks in the city.
The public felicitation, organized by Punitdada Balan Mitra Parivar, was the first of its kind after Mohol’s big victory in the election. Maha Yuti-BJP candidate Mohol won the Lok Sabha election from Pune with an impressive margin of 1.25 lakh votes and is all set to enter the Parliament.
The support from various groups in the society played a crucial role in Mohol’s victory, but the backing from Ganesh mandals, Navratrotsav mandals, and Dhol-Tasha pathaks was particularly significant. To celebrate his win, a grand felicitation event was held at Pune’s Kasba Ganpati temple by Punitdada Balan Mitra Parivar.
During the event, Mohol was welcomed with the tossing of ‘gulal’ in the air from JCB machines and the rhythmic beats of Dhol-Tasha. The ceremony included the performance of Aarti of Kasba Ganpati and the presentation of a huge garland to the MP. The presence of prominent figures like Kasba Ganpati Mandal President Shrikant Shete and BJP City Unit President Dheeraj Ghate added to the grandeur of the event.
In his speech, MP Mohol expressed his gratitude towards the support he received from the Ganesh mandals, Navratrotsav mandals, and Dhol-Tasha pathaks. He acknowledged the efforts made by these groups, especially in the Kasba Peth segment, which played a crucial role in his victory.
Members of the Ganesh mandals, Navratrotsav mandals, and Dhol-Tasha pathaks were thrilled to see one of their own becoming an MP. They believe that having a representative from their community in the Parliament will help address various issues faced by their groups.
